SAFE HAVEN SUSSEX IS A COMMUNITY INTEREST COMPANY.
A NON PROFIT ORGANISATION SET UP TO PROVIDE TEMPORARY ACCOMMODATION. OFFERING CARE AND SUPPORT FOR SINGLE INDIVIDUALS BETWEEN THE AGES OF 18 – 65 WHO HAVE LOW SUPPORT NEEDS IN BRIGHTON, HOVE AND SURROUNDING AREAS.
We place great emphasis on our ‘MOVE-ON STRATEGY’. Geared towards helping with the transitional steps of moving from temporary accommodation to privately rented accommodation. With training and workshops to enhance life skills, enabling individuality and independence. Our mission is to offer a safe home with support and hope for the future.
Our primary goal is to provide services to enable our clients to turn their situation around, to sustain a healthy life. To help gain employment and to move on to privately rented accommodation.
Accommodation and Support
We provide accommodation and support to individuals in the local communities. Providing a safe place for them to recover and gain life skills to enable them to move on to independence in the community.
Community Support Services
Support with clients to engage in community support services, to aid in their progression and to ensure a holistic approach is used. Safe Haven Sussex CIC will work closely with the local authorities.
To provide them with the opportunity to gain confidence. Working to set achievable goals that will help them to attain the skills they need to go on to employment and independent living in the community, and successfully feeling as a valued member of that community.
Health and Wellbeing
Support is given to register with a GP ensuring health and wellbeing is addressed.
